- After-School Tutors - We need individuals with
teaching or other experience working with youth who can assist students
one-on-one in the school library after school on select days. We need help
designing this program.
- Science Kit Checker - Mrs. Ryu has accepted this position and can use more help! We need one or more
individuals to “refurbish” our Science Kits. No scientific knowledge required.
After each classroom use, the kits need to be refurbished. All supplies are
provided, you just need to count out the cotton swabs, pieces of string, chalk,
etc and put them in their proper place.
- Science Helper - We need parent helpers who have
an interest in science and would like to help classes on days they are doing
“hands-on” demonstrations.
Job Description:
Assist the teachers/staff supervise the First/Second Grade Playground at morning recess (9:50 to 10:10) or lunch recess (12:10-12:55). Attendance at a training meeting is required. Individuals will need to commit to at least one recess on the same day each week for at least a trimester. This would enable us to open up a grass area for our First/Second Grade students.
